[SkateDC] Local Speed Skating On Ice

  There might be enough room during the adult public session on Wednesday night for relatively fast skating, but the Kettler web site does not mention any speed skating programs yet.
   
  There is a speed skating program at The Gardens Ice House near Laurel, MD which is on an olympic size rink (bigger than the NHL size rink at Kettler). Information about it is at the following web site:

I doubt they would rent speedskates though. Only rink that I've been to 
that does is the 400m long track oval in Salt Lake City.
