Thanks Justin. Yes...ezeefits work great as well. I have a pair of custom
bonts and still use the ezeefits in my boots.

You'll probably hear this more than once, but if you can't get enough ankle
support from your skates, there's a good chance that they simply don't fit
you correctly.  It is possible that you're simply having trouble adjusting
them properly, in which case you could try seeking the help of a fellow
knowledgable skater, but if you're using the ankle strap properly and it
simply doesn't do the job, then a different pair of skates is probably the
answer.

If the skate is a bit big on you around the ankle, you might also consider
buying some neoprene booties - Ezeefits - to fill the space.  I use the 2mm
ones for my racing skates and I've been really happy with them.  They
prevent blisters and make the skate fit a big snugger on the heel and ankle.
