Since half of you lurch like zombies after an hour of skating anyway, why not join up with the other zombies at the Washington Monument to celebrate Halloween early on Saturday? We should do it on skates, with any costume we have handy.
George, Tom, & Carl - you better leave your big, delicious engineer brains at home, or offer up "Gummi Brains" to the hungry zombies.
B R A I N S S S S, mmmm B R A I N S S S S......

Message from sender: Stalk the streets like the undead (and not because you haven't had your coffee yet). The D.C. Zombie Lurch, now in its second year, returns to the Mall on Saturday. Basically, you dress up like a zombie (think "28 Days Later") and join masses of other walking dead on an eyebrow-raising trek through the streets of Washington. Think of it as street theater. Free. 6 p.m. Saturday. Meet at the Washington Monument. For details, visit http://www.renaessance.com/lurchindex.html.
Halloween Plans That Are Dead-On
By Lavanya Ramanathan
There are a number of outrageous ways to observe Halloween in Washington. There is, for example, the annual college tradition of dressing like ladies of the night and hitting up embassies for candy.
