There will be another skate this Saturday (4/12/08) starting at 9AM at the
Georgetown end of the Capital Crescent Trail. We will meet at the beginning
of the CC Trail in Georgetown which is on Water Street essentially
underneath the Whitehurst Freeway near where it intersects with the
 Francis Scott Key Bridge.

We skate to the top of the CC Trail in Bethesda where we get
breakfast stuff on Bethesda Avenue and meet up near the water fountain
in front of Barnes and Noble at the corner of Bethesda Ave. and
Woodmont Ave. From there we return to Georgetown on the CC Trail. It's
approximately a 14 mile skate and takes roughly 2 to 2 1/2 hours depending
on how long it takes to get breakfast in Bethesda.

As this is a trail skate feel free to skate at your own pace. Since I
haven't been doing a lot of skating lately I will probably be skating
at a rather slow pace. Don't let that influence you, skate as fast as you
wish, we will all meet up in Bethesda.

On street parking is available on Water Street but is limited to
meters. As parking enforcement is one of the things at which DC
government excels, please pay attention to the parking restrictions (especially the
spaces which require you to back-in). There is also parking available
at a parking garage on Water Street; $5 for all day, I believe.

If you're planning to be there, don't already have my cell pone number
and want it, shoot me an e-mail.

Enjoy,
George
