Thanks for dropping by. I enjoyed the skating tonight, and  I will try it again after I figure out why so few showed up. The location seemed really good, safe, & well lit. Maybe I will try moving it to an earlier time, like 7pm. Thanks for trying to coach me. Will think about outside edges and heels & toes next time I skate. At least the teen age skateboarders provided some companionship on the cone course.
The slope was just right  for one-leg skating through the cones, but the slope bothered me when I tried going backwards. I have only gone backwards in perfectly flat roller rinks.
